Earth Day
Over fifty years ago, the first Earth Day took place with great excitement.  People planted trees, cleaned up beaches, learned to recycle, and started to question the sources of pollution. In the past fifty years, we have learned a great deal about the earth and its vulnerability. Reflecting on that history, the Library has created a virtual program including resources and activities to help you and your family engage in the celebration of Earth Day.
