Summer Reading 2026: Plant a Seed, Read!
Beginning with our Garden Party June 20!
The Hampton Falls Free Library invites children ages 3 and up to enjoy our “Plant a Seed, Read” summer reading program at the Library, coming summer 2026! The program encourages reading for pleasure and participation in an exciting line-up of programs. Sign up here! Program runs through August 8.
Summer Reading for Kids
Save the Date for the following programs:
- Garden Party, Summer Reading Kickoff, and Story Walk Ribbon Cutting, Saturday, June 20 from 11:00-1:00 (all ages)
- Wildlife Encounters, Wednesday, June 24 at 6:00 PM (all ages)
- Jungle Jim Magic Show, Wednesday, July 8 at 6:00 PM (all ages)
- Pajama Story Time, Wednesday, July 15 at 5:00 and 6:30 PM (best for ages 12 and under)
- Hampton Oceanarium (Ocean Touch Tanks and activities), Wednesday, July 22 at 6:00 PM (best for ages 12 and under)
- Carol & Crew Puppet Show, Thursday, July 30 at 10:30 AM (best for ages 10 and under)
- America Is Wild! with author and educator Brad Timm, Wednesday, August 5 at 6:00 PM (designed for ages ages 5-12)
The above programs are NOT designated drop-off programs; please plan to attend with your child(ren). Older/younger children and siblings are always welcome to attend.
